CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (December 7, 2016) - More people has responded the call
for the campaign of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to change the present system
of gov't into Federal Form of Gov't and had joined the Hugpong Federal Movement
of the Philippines mass orientation and Federalism Forum at Casa Emsa recently in
this city, Antonio Ganding Bayamban, Region 9 Director representing Non-Sector
said.
Bayamban
disclosed that the participants who attended the events were came from the
different barangays of 26 municipalities and city of this province.
Bayamban
said that the participants were tagged as 'BOLUNTARYONG ASTIG' (Strong Volunteers)
organized and were designated as provincial, municipal coordinators together
with their respective barangay coordinators under the HUGPONG FEDERAL Movement
of the Philippines under the National Chairman Celso A. Tizon and Peter T.
Lavinia, National Convenor and duly recognized by the Department of Interior
and Local Gov't (DILG).
Hugpong
Federal Movement of the Philippines is registered with the Security Exchange
Commission (SEC) Reg. No. CN201618868 aims to promote PRRD principles or Power
sharing, Resources sharing, Respect for all and Development for all.
During
the activities, Judys Cogo, Region 9 Director for the Indigenous Peoples (IPs)
also organized their respective coordinator from the 3 provinces of Zamboanga
del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur and Zamboanga Sibugay.
The
coordinators were tasked to coordinate with the DILG to organize and conduct
Information and Education Campaign in their respective areas regarding the
advantage of Federalism, Bayamban added.
